An introduction about Karen the founder of the RudigerMethod:

   Karen Rudiger is a fitness scientist and trainer; an inspirational athletic example at 54 years of age. She is passionate about identifying the simple 'Laws of Nature' and searching for the scientific truth. Karen's field of study is focused on the injury-free body and motoric function. Muscle is the support system of the skeleton and connects most every system in the human body. Her method of teaching is the "new body building"; rooted with the importance of developing dynamic muscle function.  She advocates how building the growth-spiral of motoric aptitude is the key of healthy living. Karen blames the "neglect" of learning dynamic balance is the primary cause of the degenerative aging process. 

   Karen has a friendly humble demeanor. She views herself as a life time student of "Mother-Nature". A visionary ahead of her time, an extreme athlete, coach and trainer, and has dedicated her life to scientific body-study. She is rich with experience and athletic knowledge and loves to teach others how to unlock the hidden potential within.  After taking one lesson with Karen, I found a fitness pioneer and true motivator, she brings a 'new' meaning to the word 'exercise' and will teach you how to enjoy the challenge of a personal growth.

    Karen originated the "One-on-One" personal training concept in the health club industry. She was the first to launch this great idea in the early 1980's, where she promoted herself as an athlete and personal trainer at the former Vertical Club in NYC. Karen continues to be an advocate for the importance of leadership through "athletic modeling." Demonstrating how physical training is best learned through mimicking a well-conditioned body. She has the reputation of a tough-love leader promoting teachers, trainers and coaches who look like the part and are free from injury and capable of performing the necessary demonstrations. She opposes any mediocrity in the fitness industry. She claims the low standards of the unfit authors and unfit instructors have misguided the consumer, causing injury and disappointment in the hearts of those who want to learn.

   Karen’s graceful aging process is the result of her athletic history. She believes ignorance and the neglect of promoting Body Education is the primary cause of human pain, injury and degenerative conditions leading the health crisis. 

  Follow the leadership of Karen. It time to stop blaming the aging-process and STOP listening to people who are unhealthy examples. It is time to step outside the box learn through 'athletic modeling'. It is time to take individual responsibility for the future of your body.
"It is never too late to start learning how to develop muscle, correct bent postures and correct the mechanical unbalances that causes injury during activity. A body with limited muscle tone will cause your bones to shift, posture to sag and internal organs to drop. Those with low muscle tone will inevitably suffer the misfortune. Get off the aging excuse and learn how to do something different in your body! If you start correcting the mechanical weakness now, you will possess a healthier time-line a year henceforth. If you continue to neglect your body, and you will continue to deteriorate on the negative time-line. We all have choices; we all have the power to reverse the health crisis in society by learning how to take personal responsibility for our bodies and raise the standards. Think about it... wouldn't you prefer mimicking a well-conditioned body? The well-conditioned body ought to monopolize the leadership in the fitness industry. We need to join and demand only the best.  Who do you want to guide you at the gym or your children into the next school year?
